This is the mission behind this video we did for Italy Expo 2020 – the italian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai – commissioned by Conferenza delle Regioni. Drawing from our rich artistic tradition, we envisioned a metaphor: a mosaic, the assembly of many small tiles that acquire a complete meaning only together.
La Conferenza delle Regioni Italiane had the unique chance to present Italy on the occasion of Expo Dubai 2020, a global stage where the audience is potentially infinite but attention is limited. It was a remarkable challenge: capturing the essence of such a vast territory, comprising 20 unique regions, all different from each other but whose union creates a unique system. How can we describe Italy in three minutes?
