All the Creativity and Care behind Diesel Denim

Diesel’s journey toward a more circular denim continues with season two of the mini docuseries Diesel: Behind the Denim, dedicated to the creativity, craft, and care that are essential to extending denim’s lifecycle.
The three short documentaries — directed by Marco Proserpio and produced by TSH — use the brand’s signature irreverent and effortless tone to show how innovation and care can help reduce environmental impact and enhance the value of every single piece.
In this first episode, Lea Ogunlami joins creative director Glenn Martens to explore the denim archive at Diesel HQ in Breganze, Italy. Together they sift through iconic looks from the ’80s, ’90s and 2000s — the Heroes & Icons that give this episode its title — showing how, even as silhouettes evolve over the decades, each one retains Diesel’s DNA: the fit, finishes, and construction that define a language that has endured and reinvented itself for almost 50 years.
Don’t Fall Apart is the title of the second episode, in which Lea meets Andrea Rosso, Sustainability Ambassador for the OTB Group, inside the Diesel Lab to uncover the secrets behind a high-quality denim designed to last over time and keep its original shape.
In the third episode, Dish the Dirt, Lea learns all about denim care and maintenance, discovering that everyone can make a difference through washing, drying, and perfectly repairing their jeans.
